About the organisation
FRRR is a national charitable foundation focussed on increasing equity of opportunity in remote, rural and regional Australia. It adopts a partnership and leverage model of philanthropy which harnesses the collective resources of philanthropy, business, and governments to support rural communities to be vibrant, adaptive, and sustainable. Established in 2000, FRRR has distributed more than $177m to over 14,000 projects across Australia to date.
Our strategy is focussed on improving outcomes in the areas of PEOPLE, PLACE, DISASTER RESILIENCE, and CLIMATE SOLUTIONS. FRRR believes that targeted philanthropic investment and collaboration in these areas will build more vibrant, sustainable, and adaptive remote, rural and regional communities - and a more equitable and prosperous Australia as a whole.
Our core values centre around collaboration and constant improvement. We have created a dynamic, flexible, and supportive work environment. FRRR is an Equal Opportunity employer.
About the role
FRRR is seeking a dynamic individual to drive the organisation-wide adoption and implementation of our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework. This is your chance to be at the forefront of measuring grant outcomes and impacts, making a tangible difference in remote, rural and regional communities.
As the driver of FRRR’s Insights program, you’ll be at the helm of a diverse range of initiatives, including crafting evidence-driven policy submissions; creating compelling briefing materials for our Executive team; preparing insightful thematic reports and studies; delivering donor-facing reports and submissions; and leading engaging thought-leadership webinars and forums.
In this key cross-cutting role in our organisation, you’ll provide invaluable internal guidance on program-level evaluations, collaborating closely with our grants and information management teams to ensure that FRRR’s data collection and management practices are not just fit-for-purpose but aligned with our core principles, values and overarching strategy.
Additionally, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our external communications team to effectively communicate impact stories and share our successes with the world.
This is an opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change, to drive innovation and to inspire others through your leadership and vision. Join us in our mission to empower remote, rural and regional communities and create lasting impact. Apply now and let’s shape Australia’s future together.
